OKLAHOMA CITY - Two-time Olympic gold medalist Michele Smith was inducted into the American Softball Association's Hall of Fame in between games at the World Cup of Softball on Saturday.  
 
2.  Youth roundup: Collins Hill Soaring Eagles win ASA title (Gwinnett Daily Post) 
 
The Collins Hill 12-and-under girls travel softball team won the ASA ‘A’ state championship last weekend by defeating the Georgia Crusaders, North Gwinnett Mad Dogs, Georgia Jaguars, Worth Cobras (Black) and the Georgia Xtreme (Black) in the championship game.

OKLAHOMA CITY — First revenge game down for Team USA. One to go Sunday against Japan. The Americans received a strong pitching performance and a grand slam to pull away from Canada Friday night at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium, picking up a 5-1 victory and improving to 2-0 at the World Cup of Softball.
